FUNCTIONS AND GOALS
- To provide quality medical care to patients with life-threatening, complex medical and surgical emergencies on account of accidents, illness, trauma, abuse, poisoning, animal bites etc and thus prevent loss of life and limb and initiate action for restoration of normal healthy life.
- Preparation of Medicolegal cases wherever necessary, and liaising with law enforcement agencies like Court/police for the same.
- To deal with disaster situations as first responder and interfacing with other organizations for support as per need.
SERVICES
Department of Casualty is functional in Ground Floor of ESIC Hospital Jaipur, providing round the clock emergency services. Casualty department is fully equipped with all emergency equipments like Defibrillators, Ventilators, Crash Carts, Monitors, Bipap Machines,
Infusion pumps. Doctors from Casualty, Medicine, Surgery, and Orthopedics along with team of Nursing and other paramedical work are posted on shift basis to provide round the clock emergency services.
